Here is some History of Mariner Furniture & Lighting 125 years ago, a simple and hardworking Valencian entrepreneur named Enrique Mariner Gurrea, a man with little means, a huge amount of effort and a great deal of enthusiasm, started the adventure of a lifetime. On Barcelona street, back in 1893, a yet to be known man set up a family business that would later bring the names Mariner and Valencia to more than 70 different countries, in less than a century.

His desire to excel together with his natural instinct to enterprise determined that Mariner’s bronze lightings would inevitably be in high demand, especially in an environment where beauty is of the utmost importance. Since its founding in 1893, Mariner has been creating furniture and lighting with design precision and a world-renowned level of quality. Its original artisanal workshops, which were opened before the introduction of electricity, have evolved over time to today’s factory which is fully equipped with modern facilities but has not given up its personal style.
